Home addition in a historical neighborhood in Denver, CO
This project was strongly informed by what was possible within an historical Denver neighborhood. The front of the home was left in place due to historical constraints, while the rest of the home is entirely new. The addition includes one large living room, master suite, and detached carport. The client requested a modern, contemplative retreat from the stylized historical facades of the neighboring houses.
From the street, however, the addition is entirely unnoticeable, preserving the image of this historical neighborhood to the public.
