Gold Hill
Steamboat Springs, CO
Gold Hill is a net-zero energy home that takes advantage of passive and active solar orientation. Tucked away on a lot close to town, the house opens in the back to city open space and local trail access. The traditional form takes it's queues from the neighborhood context and provides a large area for solar panels. While the outside responds to the varying intense climate, the inside is warm and cozy. A wood palette is used throughout the home and fixtures and finishes were chosen carefully to create a wholistic interior palette that is perfect for this growing family.
