This historic 1800s building, once home to the Famous Shoe Company in Leadville, is getting a much needed makeover. With the help of an incredible team we have transformed it into a new bar / restaurant / community space on the first floor and 8 (all-electric) workforce apartments above with a shared communal deck and spectacular views, responding to the community’s need for affordable housing. A large glass garage door also connects mountain views to the restaurant on the first floor. Original building features are preserved or carefully repaired, and the existing façade will be rehabilitated, retaining its historic aesthetics and large storefronts.
