This cozy new home for a young Denver couple started with the idea of living in a smaller, more comfortable, energy efficient house with a simple, modern design. With 2 bedrooms and a full bath below, the design allows for an airy, light open concept living area on the 2nd floor.

The large openings on the 2nd floor can remain open all day so that the main living space maintains a sense of privacy, while also feeling open, light and breezy. The palette is intentionally simple, with splashes of natural wood to warm the spaces just enough.

The ERV will provide continuous, tempered fresh air regardless of how bad the outdoor air quality becomes. We are psyched to report the owners hit a 1.35 ACH50 on their blower door test!
