This project renovates an existing auto garage into a new brewery and gathering place, transforming a familiar steel-and-concrete shell into a vibrant community hub. It is complete with a rooftop bar and expansive outdoor patio in small-town Littleton, Colorado. We collaborated with the father-and-son owners to honor the building’s original character while ushering in a new chapter of purpose and activity.

Located along Littleton’s celebrated “Mid Mod Mile,” the project embraces its context with intention, introducing a full brewhouse, tasting room, merchandise area, and cold-storage program. All the program is inspired by a RoxBox shipping-container kitchen. A large glass wall between the brewing equipment and the tasting room showcases the brewing process, connecting guests directly to the craft and spirit of manufacturing.
Natural light floods the interior and is enhanced by warm, inviting material tones. Exterior slats made from Resysta, a sustainable product derived from rice husks, create a wood-like aesthetic without impacting actual trees. These slats travel up the primary circulation portal, visually guiding guests upward to the rooftop deck, which overlooks the Front Range mountains.
Greenery and outdoor seating extend the life of the project outward, grounding the space in Littleton’s landscape and strengthening ties to the environment beyond. Clearly delineated patios invite lingering, while the rooftop deck captures sweeping views. This renovation preserves the spirit of the older Littleton charm while reimagining it as a lively, community-focused destination that reflects the town’s future momentum, consistent craft, and connection to place.
